it's okay, no need to stress! (well kinda haha). My BGO always told me once I have secured the nom, and got rest of the stuff all taken care of, the chances of gaining an appointment is at least 50/50. Well Im not sure if he said that in context of what State I am currently living in and congressional district and all, but yeah.
Well if you think about it, 50% chance is pretty darn high. I mean look at kids who are trying to get into prestigious ivy-league schools. Most dont even stand a chance because the chances are less than 6% for most ivy-leagues.
And SA admission is process-of-elimination. Vast majority of folks at this time have been eliminated. Literally THOUSANDS of kids now have to look into their secondary options cuz they dont have nom, or medical waiver, etc etc.
If you've made it this far, I think we should take a moment to think how lucky and fortunate we are to have our wonderful sons and daughters who are still worthy of consideration by academies.
