Anybody have a picture on what your status will look like when offered an appointment? I'd love to see.

I also have a question. When you complete all the parts of your application does the status change at all, or does it still say “App on file”. I have been finished with it for quite a while and have a nom. Probably a dumb question but all this waiting just plays games with my mind!

It all depends really. My son's portal never said HOLD. It went from App on File, to Principal Fully Qualified, to Accepted Offer. Principal appointments are still trickling out before the application deadline March 1st. It's not a dumb question at all, footballfan. The waiting is definitely the hardest part! My son was checking his portal several times a day!

Application deadline was February 1st this year.
Extended to February 8th because of the Government Shutdown.

If you have any doubts about your portal, don’t hesitate to contact admissions. My son’s portal never worked correctly last year, showing he was missing items and admissions would tell him they had everything. Even after he received his appointment and accepted it online, a few days later it went back to showing his file was incomplete. He got on the phone with admissions and they assured him they had his acceptance. He is currently a Plebe and is proud to be a Mariner.

Anybody know how long will it take for the BFE to come? I live on Guam, which is tens of hours away from Kings Point.

Two days after his portal said "Principal Fully Qualified", the envelope came. Very quick! I'm sure it will be a little longer getting to Guam, but I wouldn't expect too much longer.

I am still undecided on my decision to USMMA; although, I am stoked on what my future holds. Is there any way I can visit USMMA with a scholarship (payed flights from Guam) like the CVW of USNA?
