Questions, Chatter, Congrats for the 2026 USAFA Appointment Thread

Can someone tell me if there is a dedicated thread for "Class of 2026" appointment list, JUST for Falcon Scholars and sponsored preps? And then is there a dedicated 2026 list just for USAFA appointments only? Or is it all combined in this thread? I swear I read it earlier some place that there'd be different Class of 2026 listings set up on different threads, based on if one is appointed to prep schools vs the academy. I'm fine with everyone being included on this listing here, but don't want to miss out on reading up on other listings if they happen to be out there some place else on this forum.

All combined. That way we can see when falcon come in vs say self prep or even direct. Also shows how LOA May play a factors. Having different thread would cause more confusion too. We do have a comments thread for the 2026 class for questions about other appointments and congrats.

I think they mean if they were appointed to the prep school or received a FFS, not to USAFA via the prep school or FFS. Correct me if I'm wrong on that OP.
 
It has usually been the practice over the past several years to have one thread dedicated to the current academic cycle for appointments, in this case Class of 2026, and another thread for USAFAPS and Falcon Scholar offers, who will be Class of 2027. It’s two different data streams, which provide clarity on who is going where, and the flow state for each.

These are annual poster-generated threads, not anything “official” started by SAF mods. If AF folks like their data mixed this year between two class years, it’s not breaking a rule, because there isn’t one - though the guidance given in Post #1 suggests the appointment thread is not for prep offers for the next class, that they deserve their own thread.

If someone wanted to take the initiative and lead the project, it’s a simple matter to launch a Class of 2027 prep thread by editing the table in the Class of 2026 appointment thread and copying those entries into a fresh table to showcase prep offer status independent of appointments. Or it can be left as is. The cycle will be over in a little over 3 months.

I am trying to join the FB group for the parents of C/O of 2026. My emails to usafa2026parents@gmail.com with proper proof keeps coming back to me as undeliverable. Is anyone on this forum associated with the FB group? Thanks for your help.
