4-Year NROTC Scholarship Acceptance Thread

My son was accepted to Penn State’s engineering school for aerospace; still waiting to hear from the Schreyer honors college there plus a couple others, and the last applications go in early January. Hoping to hear about the scholarship before Christmas but I think it’s just as likely to be after given the timing!

I just wanted to pass along a slight update here in terms of the most recent NROTC 4-Year Scholarship board. The final out brief to the Admiral is scheduled for this Wednesday. Assuming that goes smoothly, the goal is for the results to be posted on Thursday. I am not sure if it will be in the morning or afternoon, but the goal is to have the results posted before Christmas.

For future needs, copy the table as a whole, and paste in a new post. Then, hover over the last row and a bubble pops up, select the 'insert row below', and voila, you have a new row to input your info. Congratulations!

One other note. The portal that normally lists updates is ironically down for a security maintenance upgrade. So folks need to make sure they check their emails and check spam folders in case something was sent there. The results just posted a few moments ago, so folks may not have noticed yet.
There were 80 selectees this time around. 67 of those were Tier 1 or 2, which leaves 13 for Tier 3. One nurse option selectee as well.

If those were presented at this recent board, then the answer would be yes. I have not heard of any ISR packages that were rejected.
