This probably isn't much help, but my son was first notified by mail. A fancy certificate/letter from our Senator showed up in usmail. Few days later his portal updated.
I actually REALLY enjoyed the "old school" notification. The envelope was thick. BFE.
So, point is, it seems as if they give your appointment source a time window to announce. (Our Representatives Service Academy Committee coordinator called him about his West Point Appointment first), portal updated 2 days later on a Wednesday).
But plenty of kids find out in portal first.
Whereas there may actually be a day "waves come out", for practical purposes, YOUR results may vary.
The waiting is out of your control. I suggest the 'Serenity Prayer' ... it's what got me through 3 years of this
I'm hoping to hear about all your appointments soon!
