I appreciate the various comments and perspectives on this post. The general idea I am getting is that I should toughen up and brace myself for worse at the academies, and I will do so.

As an update to my last thread about the USNA LOA, I just received the official appointment today!

I checked my USNA portal today and saw that my status said I received a conditional offer.
