Am I allowed to retake the physical test before the third board so that I could increase my chances of winning a scholarship? My previous test was meh. Definitely not the best that I could do. I tanked the mile. I couldn't find the answer anywhere. My stats were: Pushups: 69 Situps: 61 Mile...

If it's true that I don't have a solid shot at the next board, then this is really upsetting. I went through some threads that had stats of winners and I have a more competitive profile than them... I don't know what went wrong...

So basically, I learned that by being offered this scholarship, I most likely won't win a 3-4 year scholarship the next board....

So from what I've gathered, if I get the ike skelton scholarship, I am basically not going to win the national scholarship for the 3rd board.

So receiving this award does not make you more competitive for the 3rd board? What were your stats, if you don't mind me asking?

I am on the same boat. I don't think we won the scholarship this round. I remain optimistic for the next round and so should you. With that said, did you by any chance win a scholarship for military junior college?

Hello all! I just received a notification saying I won an Early Commission Program scholarship for one of the Military Junior Colleges. However, I didn't opt for that option when I applied for the scholarship? Has anyone had this issue before? I am hoping that this is just mismatch situation...

Haven't heard back from VA-08 (Beyer). I am pretty sure I didn't get the nomination because I was never asked to do an interview and haven't received a portal/letter notification.

I thought that a nomination was a requirement for being considered for USMAPS?

I've heard that before. But I've also heard of candidates being nominated to the prep school by their MOC rather than the actual school.

If I were to be nominated for USMAPS rather than USMA then would I see the nomination in the candidate portal?
