Happy to report DS has received his waiver for sleepwalking when he was younger. Mr. Mullen, thank you so much for your quick responses to all of his emailed questions, and he appreciates your sense of humor as well. :)

It's pretty amazing that he is able to deal with the volume of emails and responding to this message board as quickly as he does as a side voluntary service. Well done!

So just to be clear, DS should just continue to go through the AFROTC waiver process even if he would prefer to do SF?

DS has been going through the waiver process through AFROTC. He was recently accepted to SFROTC and that is his first choice. Should he now reach out to SFROTC to apply for the waiver through them instead of AFROTC? Should the be happening simultaneously? Or should he just wait on AFROTC...

DS has received scholarship for both AFROTC and now SFROTC. Presently, he is working on a waiver for AFROTC. Would SFROTC have different requirements and would it be possible that SFROTC might not require a waiver for the same condition?

Some clarification. DS just got notified that in the portal when it changed from Type 1 to Type 7 for AFROTC it was actually for Space Force.

My son is in the same situation. I believe he said he will know about SF around March 2.

Ha! Just saw that. Thanks! He just visited his doctor and the doc is working on a letter explaining it was mentioned once in his file when he was 12 and the last time he reported sleep walking he was still going through puberty. Hoping for the best!
