USNA Class of 2028 Waiting and Speculating

How do you know that crew practices twice a day?
3 years of watching my classmates jet off to warm, sunny beaches while I usually froze in the coxswain's seat of a shell!

We pretty much lived in Hubbard Hall so it was a great team bonding experiences.

Navy Crew now usually heads somewhere south now as a team to row in a warm weather climate, not on the (usually) cold in March Severn River.

Navy Crew sounds rad

Yes. The Brigade is on Spring Break (except for the crew team - 2 practices a day, ask me how I know), not active duty staff or civilian faculty.
Many other varsity teams are still at USNA over the break, just look at the Navy Sports website to see which are competing during this period.

That is crazy. They must really be waiting for the purge. Perhaps there are less standout applicants, but take that with a grain of salt, as I only know about the process, but not the actual admission board side of things.
have you heard back yet?

I wish. But I just wish I don't have to wait until June to find out again. My confidence is dwindling by the day. :D Worse comes to worse I'm less than 20 months away from commissioning.
Hey I’m really rooting for you!!!! Same for me, but it’s ok, we’re only the 12th of March!! We’ll hear back soon, and I know that they’ll see your persistence and your want to be there, and they’ll give you an appointment!!!

Nah, there might be some relief valve opening to ease a bit, but at this point, the best bet is the award/purge coming in the April timeframe.
