I sympathize. In my challenge I was in a 4 way tie for first. Three of those four were my three brackets. My heart soared! And then Arizona lost.... in 7th right now. :(

I do have a bracket in another group with a Wisconsin Kansas final. Thought it was my throwaway bracket. It is going much better than this one[emoji4]
 
Back in #1 slot 3 times in my bracket challenge. Thank you Oregon, Carolina, and Carolina. I have 3 teams in the final 4 and picked two to win (in different brackets). The fat lady isn't even warming up yet, but I do like where I'm sitting.
 
@kinnem - you should have submitted your bracket to the SAF group. You'd be winning our group by far!
 
Well, next year. I actually wanted to submit a bracket to the group but just didn't get to it. Next year I'll get in but not be so lucky. There were so many upsets this year it is nothing but luck. (IMHO)
 
I'd say good luck to your Gamecocks, being the SEC fan that I am, but I picked UNC to win it all. We lived in Raleigh for 3 years and became UNC and Duke fans while there. I had Duke win in 1 bracket and UNC win in the other. I still have a chance!
 
I picked UNC, Gonzaga, and Duke in my three brackets, and was rooting for Duke. There is no room for sentimentality in bracket challenges. This is business with $$$$ on the line! :D Of course DS is rooting for the Gamecocks, his alma mater.

The Gamecocks were supposed to lose to Duke but I forgot to send them a copy of my bracket, so my bad. I never followed college basketball at all until I first moved to Raleigh back in '84. I learned if I wanted to talk to anyone at the office on Monday morning I had better see the preceding weekends games. I quickly became hooked. Love ACC basketball. My pecking order is Duke, then Syracuse (near where I grew up) and then UNC. Most of my friends are ABD folks and some are both ABD and ABC folks. I wouldn't mind seeing the Gamecocks in the final though as I know no one in my challenge picked them to win, so it can't hurt me. A Carolina vs Carolina game would be great fun and might finally resolve the continuing battle in my house... which one is the REAL Carolina (DW went to ECU and her sister went to UNC) :rolleyes:
 
Wife is big Zag's fan from Washington....I've been a big midwest UNC fan since Moses was a child...preparing for WWIII with new bourbon stock. If you don't hear from me next week, please send flowers in my memory.

In the other Final Four - Mississippi State - wow. Their little point guard is amazing. She's 5'5''!
I think many folks overlooked them and had UCONN in the Final and to win it all.
