Boarded/Under Consideration

Leave it to Cadet Command to start using new verbiage on their website with no explanation of what it means. Since the board only started meeting on Monday it seems unusual that they would have made selections so quickly for the second board.

I have a feeling that ROOs are getting a lot of questions today. Hopefully one of them that post here will be able to jump on and explain what this all means

i doubt they've already made decisions for the second board results especially considering the government shutdown that happened
 
I also have that message. I contacted my ROO and he was in shock as well. He said he was contacting them in the morning. I will post any information I receive tomorrow. I am worried, but relieved I’m not the only one!

I think we're all reading into it too much. The has been boarded but not selected is most likely referring to not being selected by the first board and just a way of separating those who were boarded on the first board. There is no way that they have made decisions yet, as people above have mentioned how they haven't been boarded yet. The results won't be out for another 2-3 weeks. More should come out about this in a few days. That's just my interpretation of it. Also is anyone having trouble accessing their application? I recieved an email notifying me of a notification, and as I try to log on it won't load???
 
My son won a 4 yr scholarship during the first round and the process he went through was Boarded to Winner. We never saw the Under Consideration feature...

Its not letting me log in either and I recieved the same email you did it seems.
 
I was able to log in for a bit. I forget what the message was about, but it was unrelated to the "Boarded/Under Consideration" stuff.
 
My DS got the profile-update email today and has been unable to get through to his portal for the last two hours.
 
Same thing...my daughter received an email late afternoon and cannot log in now. Thinking maybe they are updating the status on applicants to "Boarded"??

My AROTC application status just changed to Boarded/Under Consideration... what does this mean? It says "This applicant’s packet has been boarded during the Scholarship Board but was not selected. Your application will have another opportunity for any remaining Board(s)...". However, I am very confused because 1) I was so confident I was a competitive applicant, and 2) How could they have already finished deciding winners if the board hasn't adjourned yet??

I finished my application for the second board, if that's of any help... but I am very on edge right now..

My son was boarded before the first board. His status changed yesterday to what your says. I think its still a waiting game.
 
I was able to login as well; I’m still board ready, isn’t today the last day for the board?
 
DS got through this morning. He remains Board Ready. He says there are new statuses posted on the main page.
