DS just got a TWE in his portal. Plan C is now plan A (4 yr ROTC at State University). Best of luck to everyone still waiting.

My DS received an email notifying acceptance of the transfer and then the app changed 2 days later.

DS is 3Q and still waiting for an appointment. Has accepted and transferred a ROTC scholarship and will accept Plan C school by May 1st.. if the appointment does come in will go back to Plan A. Either way, still plans to be a 2LT come 2024. Best wishes to all !

Since you are living in Tokyo, going through the steps to get the required nomination may be tricky. You will need to reach out to a member of congress (Rep and Senators) for your/your parent's state of residency to find out about the nomination process.

I lived at Camp Zama for 10 years (Elementary School - High School then College Summers). Great little base with excellent opportunities to see lots of Japan and travel throughout the Far East.

If a candidate gets an appointment due to a high(er) WCS on the NWL and NOT via their nominating MOC's slate, does the candidate's MOC still get notified of the appointment?

DS just got his 3Q letter yesterday. The same day as his 7th semester transcript was submitted.

Yes. DS was disappointed but not surprised. We are from the North East and his school counselor said it would be a long shot and that she could not remember the last time someone from his high school that was not a D1 recruit was accepted to UNC- Chapel Hill.
