I am looking for information for Acceptance Day. The USAFA website states that the parade will be closed to the public this year. Does this mean that it is also closed to parents/family? Will we be able to have lunch with our DS? We live in Wisconsin and are working on booking flights...

November 15 deadline. Nomination was 1 month prior to appointment. We heard from our congressman 1 week prior to being formally awarded an appointment to the USAFA.

My understanding is that GPA is only considered through junior year. Senior year transcripts are requested to just ensure you did well.

Will the US AFA admissions office notify the cadet's congressman of the appointment prior to contacting the cadet? My son received a call from our congressman on Wednesday notifying of appointment but the portal is not updated and there has not been any contact. Thank you

Senate was a letter in the mail and Congressional was a phone call.

My son is in the candidate stage at this time. He attended a rural public school and has had to take academically challenging courses by participating in dual enrollment and advanced placement courses. His high school did not calculate his GPA based on a 5.0 scale for these courses...
