DS appointed, official communication for now says June 28th R Day

DS went to recruiters for this and they were awesome. They fed him and loaded him up with Army swag. He came back pumped! :)

In UT, DS got MOC nom, Senator Nom, other Senator told him that since he got other Senator nom, he would leave the space open for other nominees. Got appointment.

DS didn’t use them, but he did an excellent job on his podcasts. Look up ROTC consulting... he gives great counsel on the podcasts and is the antithesis of trying to drum up business.

DS had an interesting experience last year with COVID. Before all of that happened, he interviewed to get in to Boy’s State with the local American Legion, which was a great experience for him. He was disappointed when word came down that it was canceled, but they offered a college class on...

DS received call from Senator on Wednesday night telling him of appointment, portal updated Friday at 5pm ET. DS accepted appointment Friday as well. :)

DS was told by RC that they were looking specifically at his form, he would not get credit for any more than he did on the original CFA test (push-ups), even if he surpassed it on the retake video.

DS received 4 Year AROTC scholarship to the school of choice. On the ROTC website, his school choice actually says that they "Grant special consideration for acceptance to University for scholarship winners"

DS got an interesting email from Cornell referencing his 4 year AROTC scholarship and encouraged him to apply for ED with the exception being that they would honor his retraction if he was appointed to USMA...

Officially retracting statement until we get official word from Cadet Command...don’t want to stir things up...just celebrating a little with DS.
