Have you heard anything on your waitlist? DS is on CGAS waitlist as well, and as the month closes, we're feeling disappointed.

How many cadets from prep school make it into the USCGA? Any known percentages? I would imagine a few choose not to reapply, but of those who reapply to USCGA (say for c/o '26), about how many would make it? Also, what is a typical class size at prep school? Thank you!

If anyone hears from CGAS, please post! DS on waitlist for prep as I'm sure a few others are here too. Please let us know if/what you hear. Still hopeful in the Pacific Northwest!

DS also received confirmation email thanking him for his acceptance of waitlist offer (he accepted his offer 4/1 also). Fingers crossed. His is for CGAS. That's okay. We're so proud of him.

Any idea on chances of moving up the ladder to CGAS? Like what percentage of prep school waitlist students get moved into the prep school?

Are there two waitlists? One for c/o 25 and one for CGAS? Or just the one? Help me understand. Sorry to ask.

How did you mitigate that? Did you make other schools wait until you had final word from CGA before committing to them? Did you have other non-military offers that waited patiently? He would definitely welcome a Prep offer.

DS is recruited athlete. No word yet. Couldn't apply EA due to no SAT/ACT score (out of his control, our state has been shut down for a year). The coach says he's heard nothing at all. Could be true, or just not wanting to give bad news. We are just ready to rip the bandaid off. Wondering if...

We would love to have gone EA but DS wasn't allowed due to no SAT/ACT score. Our state has been shut down completely and only just started in person school this week, 2 days a week. We tried getting SAT last March, but continually cancelled. CGA wouldn't allow him to apply EA without a score...
