The numbers still don’t add up. Unclear way to represent the demographics"*This figure includes 21 who entered directly from the fleet (19 Navy, 2 USMC), and 55 from the Naval Academy Prep School (43 Navy, 11 USMC)."

So tonight is HellO night? Both are masked up except in their rooms. Including dining together in King Hall. Both are looking forward to observing the formal plebe parade tonight, and then *ahem* “meeting” their new plebes.

Rollercoaster II: Get Me (The Parent) Through Plebe YearText from DS: “I am alive! Tonight was hilarious! Hitting the rack!”
The support from everyone on SABF is priceless
Can’t decide what to title the new thread? Any suggestions?
I was afraid that I violated OPSEC before, letting it slip that it was last nightSo tonight is HellO night?
I do really miss the FB parent page. I may someday be out of FB Jail. But regardless of that I am so happy to hear here that things went well.
My DS arrived on the Yard from a red eye flight from San Diego at 0600 today. Lots on the calendar. Lots to do to be ready for the AC year. Happy with the new company. Hell-o night was a blast.
In the current times, I am profoundly grateful for the choice of our current young men and women to serve. As I have been for my entire life. The young men and women who are the classes of ‘24 and ‘25 were babes when 9/11 occurred.
I am humbled. Grateful.
Yep.I haven’t found much use with the FB pages tbh.
Fingers crossed FB unlock’s you soon! Definitely had to be a mistake on their end…I do really miss the FB parent page. I may someday be out of FB Jail. But regardless of that I am so happy to hear here that things went well.

Thanks, but they deleted my whole account. Created a new one. Crap platform to be sure.Fingers crossed FB unlock’s you soon! Definitely had to be a mistake on their end…
Wow ..what did you do ? I've got lots of Classmates and friends ( about 90% of my Facebook friends are USNA Classmates or people I served with) who have done time in the Facebook friend , and many who deliberately poke the bear, but nobody has been deleted. Thanks, but they deleted my whole account. I have no idea. I didn't post anything political, nothing incendiary, nothing that would/should illicit even a suspension. I posted something positive on a USNA page for 2025 parents for PPW weekend. It had 300 likes Friday night. Saturday am I was gone. Ghosted. No warning, nothing. I attempted to recover the account and the only information I was provided was something along the lines of "we limit how often you can post, comment or do other things in a given amount of time to help protect the community from spam".Wow ..what did you do ? (I've been so tempted to create an Alter Ego so I can say what I really think, but have done a pretty good job of keeping a low profile).
I closed my FB account almost a year ago, and do not miss it one bit."we limit how often you can post, comment or do other things in a given amount of time to help protect the community from spam".
There was a mom on the fb page looking for you. I was wondering what happened to your profile.. Now it completes the picture.I have no idea. Personally, I think it's absolute horse&*^% since they continuously blow up my feed with unwarranted ads, 'fact checker' bubbles etc.
I'm just frustrated to lose the pictures.
Based on my research, it's happening a lot and with more frequency. So note to self, download the pictures you want to keep.
I have not been on the FB since Nov 10th 2016. Too much vitriol and hate from both sides and I decided I had enough. Have never looked back.I closed my FB account almost a year ago, and do not miss it one bit.
No. That cannon fire reverberated off of me.........The cannon fire was cool especially as the sound reverberate up the river.
