I’m not sure what you mean by “USNA has a 100% acceptance rate for fully qualified candidates.” That is absolutely not true. Many fully qualified and outstanding candidates are left behind in the very competitive application process all the time - especially in very competitive districts like the San Diego area.
I’m glad it worked out for you, but I would never recommend that anybody with TWO years of college under their belt, who is seeking a commission in the military, apply to any service academy and start their undergraduate education all over again. One year of college - fine. Two years - a waste of time. More than two years of college? Plain dumb!
