2024 March Madness

Woke up a happy fan. Today will be dicey though for my fav teams.

I always root for NC team and also Syracuse. I have a pecking order. Duke, UNC, Syracuse, NC State. I don't think Duke will make it to the final. I don't think NC State can make it to the Final Four and I'm doubtful they can get to the Elite 8. Bush is sooo hard for teams to handle. I have the Tarheels going al the way in one of my brackets. I always have 3 brackets going. I don't put all my eggs in one basket.... I put them in three. :D
 
Everyone has a system in sports. Daughter was in on Pro fantasy football (she hates football but everyone was in) at Paris Island. Everyone wanted to know how she was so far ahead. Answer: she picked her players based on who had the worst current or prior criminal record. Hey whatever works.;) UCONN Women Syracuse should be a good game.
 
Watching the Aztecs taking it to Yale. Have them going deep in the tourney.

I was sure I had posted this before but couldn’t find it. I pick Bama to make it to the Final Four.
 
Over to the Women's tournament:
Iowa is playing LSU tomorrow in the Elite 8! Big game. I picked Iowa

She always has been … she is one of 6 in women’s history to have over 1000 assists. And she is very close to the record number of assists in ncaa tournament history.

Also - she is leading the country in assists this year by a wide margin.

She is so fun to watch.
 
I know one thing for sure... there will be an ACC team in the final four. My heart says ACC, but my bracket says Purdue.

This is lining up exactly like 1983 when NC St. played the unbeatable Phi Slamma Jamma in the final.

First, they need to get through Purdue. Burns vs. Edey will be the match up of the entire tournament.

I don't think Burns can get it over Edy, but who knows... That pivot he has might work.
