2024 March Madness

RIP my Kentucky bracket. And I had UConn beating them in the Championship on my UConn bracket.
 
At least this gives me hope that maybe, just maybe, Yale can pull off an upset against another SEC team (Auburn) tomorrow. I would be so excited if that happened

Always a Lobos fan…I grew up going to games and got to see Luke Longley the Aussie back in the day. They never make it past the first few rounds usually but still gotta cheer them on!!
 
Oakland? Over Kentucky?! The only Oakland I was aware of was in the Bay Area as in Raiders and A's. Oakland is as good as Chaminade over Virgina. Cinderellas abound.
 
UConn and Kentucky are definitely strong contenders in men's basketball, and Iowa and UConn are formidable teams in women's basketball as well.

Kentucky was a "pretender." The Wildcats busted a bunch of brackets. In case you missed it:
Oakland basketball pulled off the upset of the 2024 NCAA tournament, as the No. 14 seed in the South region defeated No. 3 seed Kentucky, 80-76

I won't wade in to the fray between the two of you, but your vocabulary needs a little bit of an upgrade.

According to Merriam-Webster the definition of "jackass" is: a stupid, annoying, or detestable person.

Still not complementary, but definitely different than your understanding...
