AF ROTC Enrollment Allocation Results

My DS had his DODMERB physical summer before his senior year (2009) as AFA candidate. He was only required to update paperwork before SFT last summer (2012), he did not need to do the complete the physical again.

Thank you so much. Now I can just officially wait for "the word" without worrying about anything else! :)

Ouch, my det has pt at 0700. Granted 75% of the det is crosstowns and with my commute, I still have to be out the door by 5.

Wow that is insane. I commute as well but the most I drive is no more than 20 mins.

Good luck to all you Cadets! The suspense is intense! My Det had 100% selection last year with 35 cadets. This year we are down to 25 ftp cadets with only a handful of tech/critical language majors. My guess is that it will be less than 100% selection this year:frown:

Let me guess... Is your det in BYU?

Hahaha because I know that both BYU and UVU had 100% selection rate last year

You think there's anywhere we can look up whether a decision was made on the AF budget regarding us? My CoC mentioned it was "Air Staff" that had to make a decision.

Haha we're desperate.. The bright side of all this is we should know which Max we go to shortly after EA's come out. CoC said the people who decide that are gonna be busting their ass putting that together for us in time.

Sorry to jump in here ,but I was under the impression that when the EA selections were posted, the Maxwell Session for each cadet was posted at that same time. Is that not the case? Thank you in advance for your reply.

Not that I know of. Our DET always gets EAs and then Max's about 2-4 weeks later. That's another thing that gets really frustrating. At our DET we do paperwork to mark down any "blackout" dates that we can't attend FT (e.g. a siblings wedding). A vacation to the beach wouldn't fly.

Thank you so much. And as a mom, I think you ALL deserve a vacation at the beach! :thumb:

There is no way to find out unless Congress had to approve it. Even if they did, there would be no list of names. All you would find is X amount will be allotted to SFT.

vamom,

In yrs past they did not inform them of their Max class date. Cadets give preference, but AF comes first.

DS found out in March, and was informed in April his class date. I would not be surprised with this yr. they may indeed find out with selection.

vamom, your DS is at a school where finals are an issue for Max1. Same with Max 6. Don't worry,
