AFROTC EA 2017?

EA results were out last week and the selection rate for my detachment was 100% and I go to a large detachment. I am just wondering what's the estimated percentage of people getting EA for 2017? Will the Air Force continue to need more Officers or will we be downsizing? Thanks

Only God knows.... Seriously. Stop worrying end do the best at what you can control.

My year it was 60%. So don't go expecting 100% every year, but don't waste time worrying about it.

Nobody knows and anyone in the know would not say anything because they are in the know. Come back in Oct. when the AF is in FY17.

As an example back in 13 (?) at this time there were whispers of sequestration, but nobody thought it would really happen. Guess what? It did, and it changed everything.

Just do what you can to be competitive. Don't think about that selection rate now.
If you have not taken the AFOQT yet, than spend the summer studying the test. ESPECIALLY if you were just okay for best sitting on your SAT/ACT. There is no superscoring for the AFOQT.

If you want to go rated, especially pilot, keep working on those flight hours. Not only will it help for your TBAS and PCSM, but the AFOQT too.

Of course it should not go without saying make sure you continue to work out during the summer so you MAX the PFA right out the gate as soon as you get back in the fall.
