AFROTC scholarship process

How long after posting last required information such as PFA results can my DD expect to know results if she got AFROTC scholarship? Is anyone know how long the process take?
 
Has she completed the interview? I believe the next board meets next week and it's results come around Christmas. At least that's what an email told me.

The deadline for documents for the second board is December 24 and I believe the board convenes January 5
 
No, she completed her application today. PFA was outstanding. So, now they will contact her for interview? She had interview for USAFA, but I guess AFROTC is different.
 
Yes she should receive an email soon saying that her application is complete and that she will be contacted about scheduling her interview in the next couple weeks. If all goes accordingly, she should meet the January board.

If she applied for USAFA it is highly unlikely they will request her to do an interview with a PMS at any detachment. They will use the ALOs interview. At least that is what has happened historically.

That being said, she might make it for the December board. The problem is the board meets for a limited period. If they have 969 applications before yours and they only get through 922, than you won't be boarded until the next board.
 
She just got e-mail that local detachment will contact her to schedule interview. We actually met with the Connecticut detachment when we visited there since she wants to go to college there.
 
Looks like they tweaked the system again. In that case she won't be boarded until at least the Jan. board, maybe later if she doesn't have the inter view before Xmas break
 
Just got the news that she needs to fill in the forms, but interview will be used from the USAFA. This makes it easier.
