ALO interview: Still not posted on USAFA

Hi All,
I was interviewed by ALO this past Thursday and today is the last day (nov 1).

The checkbox for the ALO evaluation is still unchecked on the portal. I am not comfortable asking the ALO if he has posted the evaluation. Any recommendations?
 
The ALO portion of your application can still be completed after your deadline. Your ALO does not have to complete it by Nov 1st for you to still qualify.

I speak from experience, as my deadline is today as well and mine is not in either! Best of luck to you.
 
Wait. There is a lot of waiting on this journey.
It’s been 1 working day. You know it’s done. The ALO knows it’s done. If you had a deadline of 1 Nov to get it done, you met it. You’re waiting for the admin to catch up.

Hey sir, correct me if im wrong but the ALO interview is not under the section of things that need to be completed by x date section. It will appear under what’s missing but not the must turn in by that date. At least for me as of now, im not sure if it changes when you can schedule it. I still have 3 forms that I’m waiting to turn in after I finalize things with my counselor later this week so I am unable to schedule the interview yet. All of them are completed just gotta make sure I’ve properly crossed my Ts and dotted my Is. For my sake I hope that’s how it works, I have a November 10th deadline and don’t want to rush the ALO with my interview to meet the deadline due to my irresponsibility.😬😬
 
How do you schedule it? I have an evaluator name in my portal... do I email them and ask when I can do it?

you should have one that says Liaison officer who would be your local AOL mentor. Then Evaluator that is the one doing the official interview.
 
Okay...to calm folks...

The 1 November deadline does not, did not, include submission of the AF Form 4060, aka: "ALO Interview." If you completed the items listed in your portal, and the letter from "Dr. Phil" that gave you the list...you're fine.

As for the evaluator ALO. They "appear" magically when USAFA/RRS says "this package is basically complete, time for the evaluation." That's typically when you've basically submitted everything. When you see the ALO Evaluator appear on your portal, REACH OUT to them! This is YOUR interview and has bearing on YOUR application. For the evaluator its a duty. I realize that sounds harsh but think about it...if a candidate doesn't reach out to the ALO...should the ALO? This evaluation is about the candidate, not the ALO.

I'm a "softie." I'll give the candidate a week...then I send an email that, while not nasty, is a bit "inquisitive" as to their motivation?

Be proactive...ALO's like that!

My DD’s evaluator was quicker than her! She had just found it had populated (the day after submitting her writing) and he reached out to her. Then again he was 6 hours ahead in time!
