Anyone else going to NMMI

Hey,
Its official I'm going to NMMI, and was wondering if anyone else is thinking or committed to NMMI. I would love to meet some people who will be going to NMMI. I'm pretty excited for this new opportunity we have,especially as a prep student at NMMI. Im looking forward to meeting my future classmates!
 
Congrats! We are waiting to see if this is an option. Our Field Officer and others are pushing for my son to get invite to Civil Prep.

I’m going to NMMI on a FFS this year!
 
@eveness200 I’ve seen your replies on other threads about the academies, and can I just say that I’m in awe of you. You have such a great attitude and an unstoppable, hard-working ethic. In June of 2024, when I found out I’d be doing a year before the Academy instead of going directly in from high school, I struggled a lot. Got depressed and hated life. But you have a plan, you’re moving forward, and with the way you set yourself up for success, you’re going to kill it at USAFA or any Academy! Keep it up!!!! So many good things are coming your way!

This means so much, and I'm trying my best to keep a great attitude. Even during the waiting and after I didn't get in. I still am very heartbroken. I can relate to you though, but I'm trying to be better. Sure NMMI isn't my first option or plan, but its another path towards my goal. And God has his plans with me. There's this one song iv been listening to a lot to help me get through my emotional times. Its called “Flowers” by Samantha Ebert. This song has really helped me. But thank you smuch, this really made my day!

Hey I’m thinking about making a group chat with some of the NMMI prep students. Let me know if you wanna be part of it. I would like to get to know each other more. Especially because there’s only a few of us at NMMI, and I want to come to campus as friends and not total strangers. I’m not sure if I should make it on snap/insta/ or imsg.

Hey! Just want to know if your son has chosen NMMI as his prep school. If so, a few of us who are also going to NMMI as prep students are in a Snapchat group chat, and if your son wants to be part of it just let me know and we can add him. This group chat is so we can befriend each other for 1-2 months before we visit each other on campus and not be total strangers. Especially because not a lot of people choose NMMI as a prep school, I haven’t heard many people joining NMMI. We need to build a supportive community for this next big year as we prep to go to an academy! Let me know, and you can private message me !

Congrats for your son! The same message goes for you as the other people. There is a group chat on Snapchat with a few of us. Of course we want to expand the group chat. So if your son has Snapchat and wants to be part of the group chat, feel free to reach out to me and I can add him. Cant wait to build bonds with the whole NMMI prep class
