It just depends on how often you follow up with him. My DD tends to follow up every 2 wks or so. Typically she has another question and works her question of her status into it. He tends to just tell her to have patience and that she is looking good, so I guess have patience....

He's lucky enough that his name is fairly common and therefore is more difficult to "dox" with any degree of specificity.

On a related note, does anyone know anything about the next big wave? Did it already happen? Was it postponed due to weather? Will the admissions committee meet later this week to make up for today or will they wait for next week? Etc.

Reason to believe big wave hasn't come yet, admissions Facebook has posted pictures of appointments before they are mailed past couple years and for first wave this year

Appointments are going out weekly. Some weeks will be heavier than others. I seriously doubt there is another 'big wave' like there was in January or that there will be a picture.
It's Spring Break so the admissions committee probably isn't meeting this week.
