Army Beats Navy

That was quick , game just ended. I wanted Army to win but I feel bad for the Navy kicker
 
48 yard FG is tough even without the snow and cold, still it was pretty close. A real nail biter.
 
Really terrific game. Everything A/N should be. Sad either team had to lose but well-deserved Army win.
 
The ending was insane. The fight was well-fought by both sides (but, of course, go Army!!!)
 
Didn’t watch the whole game but do the quarterbacks not pass?
 
I thought it was great seeing all those Cadets from both Army and Navy the future leaders of our Armed Services giving all the Snowflakes a soft place to land and melt, be it their hat or coat as they endured the cold. Then they marched onto the field stepping on Snowflakes that were less fortunate and had landed on the ground, the Cadets Stood at attention and saluted America.
 
Monken is a very underrated coach and has done a fantastic job turning around the Army program, the days of Navy dominance in the series are over. Niumatalolo has to be in the hot seat right now, after a 5-0 start they have lost 6 out of 7.

I don’t think he has anything to worry about. It will take more than one season for Niumatalolo to be in the hot seat. He already has turned down big name offers to remain at Navy.
While I’m sure the Navy kicker feels bad, it would have been an NFL kick had he made it. Had the distance, and we groaned at first as, from our vantage it looked good until the officials waved it off as no good.
If anyone should feel bad it’s the offensive linemen. Those two penalties were the difference. Supposedly a math professor at West Point did the geometry. A few yards closer and it would have been good.
 
Navy's line on both sides has had tremendous graduation losses the past two years, so many senior starters and not a lot of substitution. There's enough players - Navy needs to get back to 1 string linemen to get rep counts up.

Maybe it was seeing (or filming) "A Season With..." this year, but it didn't feel like Navy was playing Navy Football.

It's going to take a lot more than this season and two losses to Army to make him uncomfortable with his current status.
If HE wanted to, he's got lots of options...as recently as this past January, Cal was interested in him (along with a $1.3m raise). As noted above, they've lost a lot of players and at WP, Monken is the real deal.
They go though these these cycles like everyone else...they'll be fine and so will he.
