Army ROTC 2023-2024 3rd Board

Unfortunately I would say based on past boards if you’re still B/UC then probably unlikely you’ve been chosen for a national one. Though that just means you should try looking into a campus based scholarship.

Was an ECP scholarship winner. Went from boarded to 3 year winner today. I want to be excited but I can't. Son did not get a waiver for peanut allergy for Westpoint so I don't know if DodMERB will work out in his favor this time either. I wanna celebrate and cry at the same time!

If I recall, your DS was not considered for a waiver at West Point, correct? Keep in mind that is NOT the same as being denied a waiver. It just means the academy did not pursue one for his application.

Now that he has an ROTC scholarship, he WILL be considered for a waiver by the Army's medical authority. So, do not lose hope. Today is a day to celebrate! Let tomorrow worry about tomorrow.

CONGRATULATIONS!

Thank you so much for this explanation. I have seen waivers on here before for Army ROTC. I will celebrate today!

Congratulations to all the winners. My DS received the good news two years ago today. It's hard to believe he will commission in two years. This summer he has been selected to attend Robin Sage at Fort Bragg...excuse me Fort Liberty.

Congratulations to all of the winners! If you didn't receive one, pursue an ROTC scholarship from the school. I have heard that schools such as Norwich end up with leftover scholarships as well.

DS was a 3 year scholarship winner at the second board. From reading the most recent posts above, it looks like some may not have seen, or don't have, the following banner that has been on top of the portal for the last few days:

*** The final Scholarship Board is completed. Results are currently being processed and have NOT been released. Results are expected to be released prior to 5 April 2024. *** If you need assistance, please email your processor or usarmy.knox.usacc.mbx.train2lead@army.mil ***
that banner has been there since the board ended...I am sure they get a lot of inquiries.

Received 4-year!!!! However, received it to school that hasnt released decision yet (releases at 4pm today). Does that mean I've been admitted to the school?
Unfortunately, no. The school admission decision and the ROTC scholarship decision are separate.

Hope you get more great news later today. But if not, just know your 4-year scholarship is actually good at any college with an ROTC program, and you can transfer the scholarship if need be.

Just found out I won 3yr to KSU, JMU, and PITT. Biggest weight off my shoulders. I could not be happier. 🥳 Good luck to everyone!!
DS here was set to go to JMU. The battalion was/is very accomplished and large. I believe they still do a lot of activities with VMI. Def. worth a 👀

Just out of curiosity, for those "Winners" out there, did the red banner at the top disappear for you?
We just checked the portal and my son won a 3 year! Citadel-bound for sure!! Proud of him...and yes, the red banner stays on. He was not going to check his status when he saw the banner, but when I told him to check the status tab he found the yellow "Winner" box.
