Army ROTC 2023-2024 3rd Board

Hello everyone I have a question. I'm trying to see if I can add that I am a member of the World Language Honor Society but I don't see anywhere to put it in. Should I just put other or what else could I do?
You can put that in the additional remarks (3rd section) of the essays. Or upload a new resume in the file upload tab.

Does anyone have a score chart for the fitness test (not the 2min/2mile version they do at the end of year one but the 1min/1mile version)? I saw a thread earlier where someone had posted a female specific score chart. I'm looking for the same for males.

PSA! Make sure you are taking screen and portal breaks. It will be obvious when the results are out and refreshing won't help.

Make you get out and enjoy the early spring. Students enjoy the last days of HS and parents enjoy the kids before they are off to college.

I would expect results around March 28. Let's hope there's no portal crash like after the January board. That whole waiting process was a mess!

Well, yesterday was the application deadline for this year's scholarship program. So, the field is now set.

Good luck to everyone in next week's board!

I don't have the chart, but for men, I can tell you max points is at least 50 push-ups, 50 curl-ups and 6:30 or under on the mile run.

My DS has applied for this 3rd board as a first time applicant. He is also a candidate for the Coast Guard Academy. He was somewhat interested in AROTC but really into the USCGA because the varsity athletics there (Div 3) would allow him to continue in his sport but we visited his first choice school other than USCGA, met with the PMS, and he just fell in love with the whole thing. Not sure what his chances are at the 4yr. 33 ACT, 3.5 unweighted GPA, 132 on the PFA using the chart above. USCGA nominations for regular admission started rolling out this month and we haven't received a call yet so I'm really excited he's found an alternative that he's excited about. Just hoping he ends up in the right place for him to thrive... and hopefully in a manner that my wallet can survive as well.

It's hard to "chance" his odds based only on the limited info provided. I will say his ACT is on par for a 4-year offer, his GPA is a bit low, and his PFA is probably about average. Depending on his overall application (extracurriculars, leadership positions and the quality of his essays and interview), I'd think he's a solid candidate for a scholarship offer of some type. But you'll know soon enough.

Best of luck to you and your DS! I am sure it will all work out in a way that leads him to the best place for him.

That's about right. My DS received the call from one of his listed schools that he had been awarded a three year scholarship on 03/28/22. He ended up attending that university and contracting. Completing his sophomore year now and hoping to get an Army School this summer. His battalion and cadre are top notch. Best of luck and if it doesn't work out then don't despair. Several non contracted Cadets received three year scholarships because they were that good!

Anyone else having login issues? Currently unable to access my profile, it just becomes an infinite loop not allowing me to login, tried to reset my password but I have yet to receive a reset link after several tries, and noting has gone to my spam folder.

Site seems to be working fine on my end.

For me, the password reset image code captcha thing just wouldn’t work, despite my obviously correct inputs. The emails from all things Army take a couple minutes to pop up anyways. I emailed CC, and I received this link. I don’t know why this works and the other doesn’t. https://my.goarmy.com/password/reset

I wonder how the upgrade process works for those that get upgraded. You are already listed as a winner. I am guessing that you just get a notice in your application portal.

From prior years it looks like calls came out in the day or so after the regular scholarship letters were uploaded to the portal for the board results. I assume letters then followed but wasn't quite able to nail that down.

I recall seeing that an email was sent, and also that when you log into the portal, it will change in the "Winner" area of your status from the 3-Year AD scholarship to a 4-Year Scholarship.

Good luck to all!

How many does this upgrade happen? And what is the timeline for this?
