How does the 1000 4-year winners track with recent history? That seems like a generous number. Did they just cut the number of national 3 ADs then?

Well, kind of answered my own question I think from EEBTTF's information. In his example, there would have been 750 4-year winners (and 2250 3-year winners). So 1000 4-year winners this year is certainly not a reduction. But I doubt there were 3000 3-year winners when all was said and done. That was likely a reduction, and perhaps a significant one.
 
Is anyone experiencing technical difficulties when going into their AROTC portal? I can't check if im still B/UC. Does this mean I didn't get a scholarship
 
My son got a 3rd round scholarship...and he can't log on, either. Site just appears to be down, right now

Same. Received a 4-Year Scholarship yesterday and the portal doesn't work for me today.

Results are out. If you havent been contacted or the portal doesnt say winner- you didn’t receive a national scholarship. Time to get ready to compete for a campus based. Hopefully you’ve been in contact with the ROO at your #1 school and ensure they know you are coming. And then hope you are the #1 non-select for their 1 campus based national non select applicant.

DD has already contacted ROO at her #1 , and she already has a substantial academic scholarship offer at this state private school . They told her (within the last month) campus - based funds were not plentiful this year , but she is at the top of their list . Is there anything else she can do at this point?

Be the best that fall semester - show up in shape, be engaged and involved, do well academically.
