Hello, I have applied to ARTOC and submitted my application in July. The first selection board is currently convening and I was just curious about when the earliest I could potentially hear about receiving a scholarship? If anyone who previously received a scholarship or anyone who knows when we could hear by it might help me from constantly checking every day for a month. Thank you
 
Keep checking...the more you check the better your chances...just kidding. If you haven’t heard anything by the first week of November you either didn’t get a first round offer, or the results haven’t been released. You can also keep checking this discussion board. You’ll see it light up when results get released.

Yes, just checked my status 10 minutes ago and it had been changed from board ready to boarded.
 
Thanks. Glad to know things are moving. Still board ready for my DS. Do you mind telling what your last name starts with? Based on last year's thread about this it seemed they were going in alphabetical order.

Co, so if it is alphabetical it would make sense for mine to change early in the week

Yes, am submitting my Virginia Tech application this week. (Despite being born at UVA), gokies!
 
Just a word of encouragement. I know that you are all excited to be boarded. But PLEASE do not get discouraged if you don't get awarded a scholarship on this board. DS was in your shoes last year. Nothing on the 1st board. 3 year on the 2nd board. Upgraded to 4 year on the 3rd board. Now am MS1 at Clemson. It is my understanding that only a small percentage of scholarships are awarded at the first board. Good luck to you all!
