attending competitive Stem Magnet school

56 push ups
55 sit ups
Still got the typical boarded and winner box, then unknown story. Patience is a good virtue at this moment.

Got 4 year to all 3 schools

Congratulations to those who are awarded a scholarship today, I remember what an exciting day it was.

For those rolled to the next board, keep the faith, as many have stated they offer a very small number the first board, the bulk of the awards come from the second and third boards.

I agree with Jcleppe 1000%! congratulations to those that got notified and those that didn't, don't get discouraged! My daughter was awarded during the 3rd board two years ago, deep into her sophomore year, what board she was awarded on doesn't matter. I still remember how long and painful the waiting was, but it helped her get her ducks in a row and have her plan B and C in place, so it was and is all good!

Just a word of encouragement. I know that you are all excited to be boarded. But PLEASE do not get discouraged if you don't get awarded a scholarship on this board. DS was in your shoes last year. Nothing on the 1st board. 3 year on the 2nd board. Upgraded to 4 year on the 3rd board. Now am MS1 at Clemson. It is my understanding that only a small percentage of scholarships are awarded at the first board. Good luck to you all!

I am new to this forum, and your post caught my eye as my first choice for AROTC is Clemson. Nothing on my 1st board and I am a bit dissapointed as I thought for sure I would be offered a scholarship.( 4.18 GPA and 1350 SAT) I will continue to wait..... Thanks for the encouragement.
