AROTC vs NROTC admissions influence at specific schools?

Hello...I was recently awarded a four-year AROTC scholarship and am applying for an NROTC as well. I'm curious - for school such as Yale and Penn, where being a candidate for the on-site NROTC battalion will give a considerable boost to applicants, does having an AROTC scholarship (not on-site) have the same sway?

To add: I don’t think it makes that much of a difference in admissions that Yale doesn’t host Army ROTC on their campus because they don’t really give extra acceptance boosts to NROTC and AFROTC winners… it’s really the other parts of your application that they’ll decide on (to include essays, they actually read those!)

Yale maintains a good relationship with UNH (where AROTC is hosted in town), and their cadre come to Yale’s campus for certain ROTC events when their Yale cadets are participating, like the annual President’s Review.
