Asthma waiver question

My daughter is in the process of applying for the USAFA and I have a question about the medical form. She was diagnosed with environmental allergies (runny nose, sneezing, etc.) as a child and completed a course of allergy shots and has been medication/shot free for 2 years with no symptoms. She had 3 allergy MD's (we are retired military and moved) during the course of her immunotherapy. First 2 MDs never prescribed an inhaler or stated she had asthma; 3rd one stated she had a "borderline spirometry test" and prescribed an inhaler for "exercise induced asthma". She never took it as she never felt she needed it (never experienced shortness of breath or wheezing with activity). Her spirometry tests have been within normal limits for the last 3 years (not borderline- I think the first 2 were classified as "borderline") and she actively participates in track/cross country. Is there a chance for a waiver? Should we proactively schedule an apt. with a pulmonologist or wait until after her physical? She is a very strong candidate except this one issue in medical...
