Rutgers on scholarship. Engineering. AFROTC. And be as good as he can be at all of it with your full support. Seems like a plan.

He wants to be an engineer in space force. I don't know if you can get there from the other branches. They don't let new folks private message here. Should he gap or go to college and reapply. We are so confused at this point on what the best path is.
