Even though the BFE did not arrive today, our DS did get a call directly from our Congressman congratulating him on his appointment to the USMA Class of 2024. They had a very nice phone conversation from what I could hear. He even asked my son if he had any questions or anything else he can assist him with. It's quite impressive that he took the time to call our son with this great news.

I'm going to have to remember to vote for him next time; (even if I don't vote for his party).😇
 
Wow.....I didn't realize that many candidates and parents are looking for USPS Mails. I checked and confirmed WP portal on Feb 6th...and did screenshot it.

That was way enough for me. :)

I am so grateful for everything. Even if there were a significant delay, I would not care. I just needed the screenshot.....looking back all my crazy schedules associated with extracurricular activities, AP & H classes, varsity sports, championships, etc.

I really don't know how I have reached this point. I just appreciate everything.

I am not doing anything this weekend.....just relaxing at home.

My dad mentioned, "You deserve a good break, finally!"

Yes, finally! :eek: but Now What?

I 100% agree screenshot Thursday stating "Congratulations" and my DS hitting the accept was enough...I mean DS anxious to get BFE but knowing he has an Appointment is ENOUGH!!!!
 
What is the earliest after being sent it will show up on “Informed Delivery”? Immediately? When received by the local carrier?
 
With other packages with tracking, often times they show up when the label is printed -- before they are even mailed. However, I would imagine any package with tracking, it would definitely appear when the post office receive/scan it. Of course, no tracking number = no way to show in Informed Delivery.
 
Sometimes Informed Delivery does indeed update on a Sunday. Here is an example from today:

Dang, we got this:

"You currently have no mail from Today. Please check back tomorrow."
 
I really doubt that most small towns have any type of USPS Sunday delivery, although I understand some larger cities do have Express and Priority deliveries. God bless everyone who is waiting. I hope you get the news that is best for you -- whether that's a BFE or something else.
 
We do indeed live rural, but in the 13 years we have been here I have never seen the mail delivered on a Sunday.
 
Seeing the email from DS RC was enough for us for now. And the BFE from USNA was not scanned into informed delivery. Sweet surprise when I found it in the base of a shrub near front porch. Keeps us on our toes!
 
I believe USMA BFEs will not show up on informed delivery. It is a 2 day mail and should arrive today. If anyone receives the BFE please let us know. My mail won’t arrive until 1530
