So I was not awarded an Army 4 year scholarship from this last board. Now I am looking at my next options as a campus based scholarship.. My question is what is the actual difference between a campus based scholarship and the offers from cadet command? Anybody who can help clear this up I appreciate it greatly. One thing I do know is that no matter what scholarship does or doesn't come in I will be ready to go this fall.

And congrats to those who received offers!

The campus based scholarship pays exactly the same benefits, and incurrs exactly the same obligation. Keep in mind that many of these scholarships will be 3 year AD, and many of them won't be awarded until after the semester starts in the fall. Make sure your gaining Battalion knows your situation, and be sure to come to school with a solid plan on what to do if you never get the scholarship.
