Can I retake CFA on my own terms?

I did horrible on push ups. Can I submit and then submit new scores next week?
 
What constitutes "on my own terms" ? The test is to be administered as prescribed in the CFA instructions. Provided you have an approved evaluator, you should be able to retake it whenever you want and update the results with Admissions.

CFA examiner resubmits without the academy’s requesting first.
 
If you’re not satisfied with the results, don’t submit them. 20 push-ups is probably not going to be a pass for the CFA. The Academy decides if you get a retest, not you.
