The CFA can be administered by "any physical education teacher".

Could I have a personal trainer or cross fit coach administer the test?. Or does it have to be a high school employee?

Most likely not. However, you should check this year's instructions to candidates. Prior postings indicate that some people have had coaches administer the test in the past. Although those were most like also PE teachers.

Thank you. I quoted the instructions, and that's why I was curious. I will call and ask the counselor next week just to be sure.

As homeschoolers, my kids didn't have a PE teacher, though they did have coaches. I recall that their ALO's administered the tests, but that was back in the dark ages.
