So a couple of days ago, I might have pushed myself too hard during XC practice and I pulled my right legs hamstring.

I took an ice bath and put some Bengay on it, did stretches etc. so I thought I’d be fine come CFA time.

took the CFA today and after the shuttle run, I can barely walk. My scores aren’t great, but I wanted to know:

When is the absolute latest I can submit my CFA, or should I just suck it up and see what happens with the scores I have? (I do not have an LOA).

Talk to your RC and explain the situation. Only your RC can answer this question.

Primary sources are best. RC is one primary source. If you believe you passed, submit the score. You cannot know that you will be able to improve run times if you cannot train. Hamstring pull may not interfere with training to improve pushups, pull-ups, sit-ups, and basketball throw. Train hard on what you can still do even if you passed. Good luck.

Don't submit score untill talking to RC! A failing score might hurt your chances. Even with an option to try agian(what they sometimes give to competitive applications)

I do not want to rub salt in the OP's wounds, but this is why I have posted on here numerous times to take the CFA (and the ROTC PFTs) before fall sports get into full swing. My DS tore ligaments in his ankle last year in mid-September. Fortunately he had taken the CFA 2 weeks before that. The CFA is one of the few things entirely in your control.
I think you have some time to submit, @EastRound, so best of luck to you.

Thanks and good luck to your son
