I took the CFA today and kind of flopped in the bb throw....40.8 ft. I did well in everything else, and I would like to be able to submit the test, but is this going to be below the minimum? And if I do need to retake, should I submit this first test officially then retake, or not submit and try again?
Thanks sooo much for any help, I am killing myself over this.

CFA

If I am not mistaken, you are only allowed to submit your CFA scores once. So if you know you can improve your scores, do not submit, and retake it when you are ready.

You can take the CFA as many times as you like; but you can ONLY SUBMIT it 1 time. So if you're not happy with your scores, don't submit it. Practice and take it again.

On a side note; the ACADEMY ADMISSIONS CAN have you retake the CFA. But that is totally at THEIR discretion. They have done that for the candidate is 110% the perfect candidate, but they didn't do well in the CFA. Again, that's at the academy's discretion; not yours. later... mike....

my suggestion is to retake. go see your schools track and field coach who coaches discus, shot put etc.... to learn the technique for throwing. then practice daily. there are threads on the airforce site and on the other academy sites with suggestions to improve. my son also had trouble with bb throw. after doing the above he was able to improve it in a short amount of time. also, make sure you really warm up your throwing arm before starting the test - ie: like a baseball pitcher. good luck!

CC is correct only the AFA can reopen that part of your package.

YOU CANNOT RE SUBMIT WITHOUT THEIR APPROVAL.
