I have my CFA this Thursday.

This is what I can do so far:

push ups: 40
Sit ups: 82
Pull ups: 4, sometimes 5
Basketball throw: 67 feet
Mile run: 6:50
Shuttle run: 10

I am a 17 year old male.

Will my application be disqualified because of these scores?

Last year I had 44 push ups and passed, I do not know about your pull ups though. Do you have an LOA? If so do the event and try your absolute best because the deadline is Oct 15. If you don't, wait a bit and try and get the pull ups higher. I absolutely destroyed the ligaments in my elbow due to a simple dislocation in February, and was not able to start doing anything till about July. From not being able to do 2 decent pull ups, I am now able to get about 10 excellent strict form pull ups. All I did was go to my local Big 5, bought a pull up bar, and did 4 pull ups every time I walked under the door it was installed in. It will take about a month to start getting stronger and you'll probably be able to hit about 8 or 9 with good form.
Hope this helped :)

Thanks for the advice. I do not have an LOA sadly. Im gonna buy a pull up bar tomorrow and start training for next year because my odds don't look too good right now. Wish i started training earlier lol. Hope you get in :D

Thanks man. Just to let you know I am a reapplicant and I received an LOA this time around. I was rejected due to a lack of competitiveness last year, not due to my elbow. Persistence pays off. If you are dead set on attending West Point, MMI is an excellent plan B, I also know a guy from my district who chose NMMI and got in as a reapplicant.

Hmm I haven't considered that. I will look into it because I was planning on just going to regular state school to do ROTC but an MI is probably better. Thanks!

MMI is a junior college, but you can commission after 2 years. If you want a 4 year college degree look into the SMC's like VMI or The Citadel.

If you don't get in, don't rule out ROTC at a regular state school. Several reapplicants go to state school and get in. Consider more than just if it is a military college when making your decision. It is your plan B and should be your plan B for if you never get into a service academy, not just what can I do for a year so I can try again. There is a lot to consider including price, degree options, ROTC (you can still commission as an officer through ROTC or SA), location, etc.
