My understanding is that those with Presidential Nominations won't get LOAs.

If your applications are all completed with noms, you won't get LOAs - unless for candidates residing/claiming a less competitive district then they may ask you to go through that process with MoC, in order to gain flexibility in where to charge the nom to, or "saving" a Prez nom for another applicant later.

My understanding is that those with Presidential Nominations won't get LOAs.

That is true, as long as the candidate is 3Q, as the point of an LOA is to say that they will be appointed if all conditions of the letter are met and there is still a hurdle to get by. Our DS got an LOA having a Presidential Nomination on file, but he was not medically cleared, yet. So as soon as that came through, he was appointed.

Congrats! But now I have to stop reading this thread I know regular admission with a Congressional Nom later in the winter is the great majority of Admitted Mids but you LOA and Presidential Noms are cranking up my nervousness for DD. *deep breaths*
