Company assignments

Hello, my DS recently accepted his appointment to West Point. We were both wondering when cadets are assigned their companies, I would assume after beasts?

It depends on the year and the decision that higher leadership makes. 2023, 2022, and 2021 were in their academic year companies during beast. 2020 got scrambled after beast into different academic year companies.

Same as what aa99 said. The companies for 4/C-2/C this year correspond to platoons during Beast (ie: 3rd PLT D CO = Company D3). The list was leaked last year prior to CBT but I don't know if that's normal.

It seems pretty normal lately.
