Don't panic. It sounds like a couple earlier boards were cancelled, so they have only held a couple boards. Boards are held more frequently closer to the end and more scholarships are awarded on those later boards.
 
Anyone get any NROTC results today? I know in previous boards they notified the day after the board which would be today. Just wasn't sure if no news was still good news!

We haven’t looked. DS is not one to check daily 🙁. I wish he did! Purdue EA decisions come out tonight - that’s his focus today, I guess. He’s @ work (we are in a locked down state so work replaces his lost activities).... He’s going to open Purdue decision when he gets home. I’ll see if he wants to check NROTC status. Fingers crossed for everyone 🍀! Monday may be a holiday - so maybe later next week folks will find out from this board?

I've not heard of notifications coming out that quickly. It usually seems to be 7-10 days before they come out. Once scholarships are awarded, they go to a separate panel to place the scholarship at a school.

Is Purdue not rolling admissions any longer? When DS applied 4 years ago they were rolling admissions and he received his decision very quickly.

I guess not this year...He had to apply by Nov. 1st to be considered in this “Early Action” group who were notified yesterday. So far, that’s the majority of how the schools he applied to are doing it this year. The only ones that had a “rolling decision” were TAMU & Kentucky. 4/5 listed on his NROTC application have this big fan-fare type “If you were Early Action, you’ll find out on “ABC date” at 5pm EST! 🎉”. He handles it pretty well - I think because he took the advice of having Plans A - E, but I think it kind of causes more stress. We screwed up the GT date (it was for GA residents only) & he was literally counting down the hour.... Oopsies 🤷🏻‍♀️..... Now, he’s counting down the real date for non-residents - next Saturday 🤞🏻..... I guess it keeps him busy while he waits for news for NROTC & USNA.....

Congratulations 🎉🍾!! DS is actually at school today (2nd day for the school year 🤷🏻‍♀️) & has to work tonight. I’ll ask him to check his portal when he gets home. I don’t think he checks too often - a coping mechanism I think 😊....
