Do academies automatically get DODMERB results?

My DS is a Candidate for USAFA and USNA. His DoDMERB status says "qualified", but his USNA portal just says a medical exam is required...how will USNA get the information from DoDMERB? Does he need to do anything? TIA!

He doesn't need to do a thing. At the point where USNA would normally schedule the DoDMERB exam, DoDMERB will see they already have it and send the results along.

They will get the results, but USNA never updates the status on the portal. As long as the DODMERB portal shows qualified, he's good to go.
