DODMERB Genital Exam for Males

Hello,
I have a question about the DODMERB exam regarding the potion that examines the male genitalia. I've been told it's just a "cough" test. Is that the case? I'm pretty clear on the other parts of the exam. I'm just confused on this part

I believe it may vary with the doc., but for my DS it was the cough test.

When I went doc did not exam the male genitalia. My exam went like this 1st was a urine test, next measured height and weight, then took a hearing test, then did a speech test, next the nurse had me strip down and put on these paper shorts and told me to wait on the doc. When he arrived he just confirmed some questions about my medical history and had me do some stretches, squats, and walk around the room. Then he told me he would get it sent right over to concorde and I left.

DS was ALL worked up over his IMPENDING RECTAL EXAM. Especially nerve wracking as he had never before seen a real doctor. (When he was six, he was sick. His Mama said he would go to the doctor - his dad. He replied: "I want to see a REAL doctor!") So, after weeks of fretting, he arrives at the DODMERB exam, and..... "He was just like you, Dad....! a real jokester!" We had practiced his speech exam so he could deliver it like Winston Churchill. After he read the first half sentence, the DODMERB guy interrupted.... "stop, stop.,.. that's enough.... isn't that dumb?" no rectal, no cough test, no naked exam. DS was happy.
