I was notified that I will be a NROTC Marine Option Scholarship recipient awhile back, and shortly after I had my DoDMERB physical and ear/eye examinations completed. Yesterday, I received a letter in the mail that said I was qualified. Does anyone know what the next step is in the scholarship process? I sent an email to my OSO but I figured I'd post it here as well.

Thanks!

You wait!

They will send all of the paperwork you need to provide.

Congrats, now wrap yourself up in bubble wrap because if you get injured you will have to report that to DoDMERB, and you don't want to start the process over again.

Not talking about a sprain or minor injury, talking about broken bones that require pins...i.e. anything that requires a visit to the ER and physical down time.

Also, keep up your grades.

And stay out of trouble and send the first semester senior year transcript in (I think that's required but double-check... I may be getting confused with Academy process.. and oh yeah, don't get old ). Congratulations.
