DoDMERB - Under Waiver Review

Since seeing the status change, I have been waiting anxiously. How long does the review normally take? What should I be doing? Is there someone I can speak/write to for an update or next steps?

I'm in the same boat as you. I've been "under waiver review" for a while, and haven't received any correspondences requesting AMIs or other documentation from the academies I've applied to. He beat me to it, but I was going to tag @MullenLE as he's a great help with getting candidates the help they need with any medical information. Write to him and he should help get things sorted out!

We were hoping you could assist us? Our DS received an LOA but his DoDMERB is under waiver review. The last task was to submit a Body Fat Composition form which has been completed. Do you happen to know if there are more steps to the process? Thank you for any assistance that you can provide.
 
MOM/DAD: Google "DoDMERB;" Hit "Questions on the process;" Read paragraph #4.

DS : Send me an email: lawrence.e.mullen.civ@mail.mil; provide complete name and last 4 SSN; provide the text of your PARENT'S posting above to YOUR email. The subject line of the email should be “DJDSP2010 SAF = DoDMERB - Under Waiver Review“

There is no hurry, because our database is down for maintenance for the next 5.5 hours as of this posting :wiggle:
 
Can I just do a little dance for @MullenLE ? This guy not only works after hours and speaks plainly so parents can learn to adjust their sails but manages to nail the emoji options every single time.
For parents not familiar, do not take offense if he asks you to have DS or DD email and he shuts you down. That is a normal process and one he has to follow.

I am so impressed with his efforts every time I log in to the forum.

Thanks for the unnecessary kudos. I know, feel, understand, and smell the angst of applying to SAs and ROTC. I don't always hit the target, but I do my best to explain the King of all Bureaucratic processes:zip:

Like others in this forum, I have been under waiver review for what feels like an eternity. I have applied to USAFA and the AFROTC Scholarship, and it seems both are held up. I feel helpless, but also feel like there is something I should be doing. Any insight you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

I've asked this same question in a chat with the USNA. Their response was to just wait and check email regularly in case they request any additional information. Nerve-wracking.......
