I apologize if this is covered elsewhere but I didn't see it. Feel free to refer me to the proper spot. I want to buy tickets for the Parents Weekend football game, but I saw that most of the seating is bleachers. Are there any sections with regular seats? If all is available are bleachers, can we bring in those stadium seats for back support? Where is a good spot for elderly people to sit? I don't want my 78 yr old mom to have to climb a lot of stairs. Thanks for your help and Go Falcons!!!

I did not find specific answers to your questions, but you can call the ticket office and inquire. The stadium does rent seat backs, but I do not know if outside seat backs are permitted. There are seats at what is considered ground level from the entrances, but in general it is considered a bowl style stadium and most seats are either up or down from "ground level"

I did find this:

@MAG Haven't been there since 2017 but they do rent seat backs & I'm sure if you contact the office posted by @shiner, they will be able to accommodate your Mom. I had relatives in that age group there for graduation & at 7K+ elevation, stairs quickly become hard to climb/breathe. Take the offer of a wheelchair if given. It's nothing like sea level. Bring empty water bottles to fill up past security. Enjoy!

Definitely call the ticket office. They can tell you what gate you need to go in to get to handicap style seats. Wheelchair might be a good idea because walking from the parking area to the stadium is not flat. If you have a handicap placard you can park closer towards the stadium.

Totally agree with calling the ticket office, using a wheelchair and a handicap placard in the car. My dad uses a walker but the amount of walking was going to be too much for him. He was very glad we used a wheelchair. The ticket office worked with me on all of our tickets so my mom and dad were in the handicap area (they allow one person to sit as a companion). The rest of us were on the top row of bleachers just in front of them so we could still interact easily.

If elderly people are involved, you may want to avoid the east side. It faces the sun, which can be quite intense in the afternoon. It’s not unusual for southern Colorado to be hot even in October, and being above 6000 feet only adds to the discomfort.
