Not to speak for my classmate, but everyone in my flight is doing great today. Got to sleep in and basically do as we please for the day. Feels amazing and very odd at the same time.

Favorite part was probably the assault course. Really challenging, but very rewarding. The most challenging part for me was the slow days where we didn't do much but study knowledge, do bed drills, practice marching, and get PT'd. The slow days were the worst because they just dragged on for forever. Be in good physical shape, that is the only preparation that is necessary. Everyone who wasn't in shape had their body break down pretty quick.

Nah cadre always said "if you make it" we always responded with "WHEN we make it that far"

27 started basic 27 of us finished. We're getting to April.

Favorite part : singing. We always annoyed/ serenaded the cadre with singing in the rain. We have so many good memories. Our song is "We are young" we do the beat and everything

Prepared? Eh honestly? Having this forum told me what I needed to know and having upper classman who wanted me a bit. Worry is your worst enemy. You don't know anything going on durning basic. They don't tell you anything, like really nothing so don't worry it's ok to seem like you have no idea where you are.

I'm doing fine! transition week is pretty relaxing compared to BCT.

My favorite part of BCT was the different activities we participated in at Jack's. FEST, CATM, and the A-course (in hindsight) were my favorite. The most challenging component of BCT was having the mental fortitude to push through. The beatings can't last forever, you just have to keep going.
